AMOLED Launching in Korea 2009
Active matrix (AM) OLED displays stack cathode, organic, and anode layers on top of another layer - or substrate - that contains circuitry. The pixels are defined by the deposition of the organic material in a continuous, discrete "dot" pattern.
Each pixel is activated directly: A corresponding circuit delivers voltage to the cathode and anode materials, stimulating the middle organic layer. AM OLED pixels turn on and off more than three times faster than the speed of conventional motion picture film - making these displays ideal for fluid, full-motion video.

The anticipated collaboration project between Pledis Entertainment’s power players, After School and Son Dam-bi, is finally here. As was announced earlier, these girls will not be performing this song on any music broadcasting shows, which now makes absolute sense because this project is part of Son Dambi’s endorsement deal with Samsung. Just like Big Bang and 2NE1’s collaboration, “Lollipop,” the song “Amoled” is strictly for advertising purposes.
Son Dam-bi gets a lot of screen time, since this is her endorsement deal, not After School’s. Yet the girls get some time to shine, but mainly as glorified backup dancers.“Amoled” is basically electronica fluff, but it’s nice seeing the ladies in svelte, cool leather. SON DAMBI AND AFTER SCHOOL
Son Dambi is no newbie with Samsung as she modeled for the AnyCall's Ultra Haptic earlier on, where the line is also known as the 'Haptic AMOLED.’ This time she gets together with After School and does a collaboration for the Samsung HP model. And the full song for 'Amoled (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode)' is out! The song's actually pretty catchy. I can't wait for there to be a CF for this. Hear for yourself!
